I was just getting a feel if anyone is interested in anything else from Hawaii. Sam is looking into collecting other things for us if it will help him to make a little money to make ends meet. Do we have any interest in hand picked rock that is dry off the shore? Plants, hybiscus, plumeria, ginger, and ? Maybe sand, shells, anything? I want to see him do well so any ideas would be appreciated. If it is something we can get super cheap already then it wouldn't be worth his time to collect if shipping cost won't allow for any profit. Anyway post any ideas you may have.
    Thanks

SPS are not allowed in Hawaii, but he may check into softies. He also told me if he can prove he can propagate they may allow some corals with a permit, but that would be way down the road.

What about shrimps, and macros? Is he allowed to do live sand, or just beach sand?

Macros would be cool, shrimps are a little risky to catch. Hawaii is loaded with sharks that like to bite people such as the bull shark. Sharks also hunt at night which happens to be the best time to catch shrimp. I don't know if Sam has the guts to try that. I don't see why he can't ship macros other than the mangrooves, which by the way he sent. I am just sending out feelers right now to see what is of interest. I am sure he will view this post at some point.
