    Default DIY wavemaker

I went to local electical supply today and picked up a recycle timer and base. I am installing this in a small project box from radio shack and will control 2-4 powerheads with 1-2 being on or off at 1 to 10 minute intervals. Its pretty simple really with two timer controls one to control the on time, one for the off time. It has two sets of contacts inside one normally closed and one normally open. So basically it will control two outlets cycling between the two. I couldnt see paying $50-100 for a wave maker so decided to try this. If it works alright I will post a schematic of the wiring and a list of parts for anyone else that wants to try it. Simple project for $25-30 total.

Have you seen these? The twin timers are kinda cool.
