Stand and Canopy - Need Vendor Recommendation

Hi all,

I'm new to the San Antonio area.

I have a 135 gallon (72" x 18" footprint) reef ready aquarium that was formerly sitting on a DIY stand that I chose not to bring along with me during the move. My livestock is still out of state in a temporary location, but I will be moving it within the next month. My 135 is here and will now be located near the front door of the house, so I want the tank, stand and canopy to be a presentable piece of furniture. The tank has a single center overflow in the rear middle and the canopy must be tall enough to accomodate VHO and MH lighthing, plus fans for cooling.

Does anyone have any recommendations for where I might be able to find a stand that would work? I'm open to the idea of buying from a pet store or possibly even working with a cabinet maker who might have experience with building aquarium stands.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you are a do it yourself kind of guy I just built a stand and canopy for my 180 and it was very easy. You can get help from someone with the shell if you wanted for a better look but the frame was simple and will hold a train. I did build my last stand and the frame was nearly identical to yours. Just like yours, it was more than strong enough. The part I wasn't happy with was the shell, so getting someone to help with that would be a great way to go.

Great job on yours, it turned out really nice!

Attached is about the best picture I had of the old stand. The pic was taken around a year and a half ago, just after I had put in a around 100 lbs of HIRock. (the power heads didn't stay like they were in the picture for long)
