Thread: Need powercord for 2x55 watt ballast!!!

    Just cut the three prong cord off of some appliance that you don't need. Or you can buy them new from Lowes/Home Depot. Since you're working with open salt water, pay more for the water proof cap to connect the cord to your ballast. The cord is about $3 to $5 buck each. The water proof cap is about $3. It would be cheaper if Wal-Mart carry them, but I don't remember seeing them in stock at Wally World.

    Buy from Lowes or Home Depot so you can choose the flat plug version. Flat plug hug closer to the wall when you're running in to tight space.
