i had big problems with my nanocube when i tried moving it from s.a. to austin, the sand bed got tossed around just a little bit and the tank had to recycle again, 3 weeks. the worst of it was that i had no other tanks to transfer the corals to. i lost about 1/4-1/3 of coral and 1 sexy shrimp outa 6. since the new 'thing' in nanos is barebottom, y not ditch the sand and just transfer over the rock, livestock and most of old water. i would do the white cutting board bottom, imo. that way there is no recycle time! plus no worrying about sand getttin blown around on coral by powerheads!
