So would the best thing to do be to cycle the fuge before connecting it to the main tank. Then when the fuge has cycled move all the livestock and rock into a bucket, transfer the sand and let it settle, add the live stock back to the main tank, and connect the fuge to the main tank. Haveing the fuge hooked up with lots of macro should help take care of any ammonia or nitrite spike shouldnt it? How much of a cylce after the transfer do think I should expect?
