Thread: Filter Media

    Default Filter Media

I started RowaPhos and in the instructions it said to put it in the filter sock that came with it. If I am to use the phosban reator I have do I need the sock?

The sock is in there now and I dont think its serving its purpose because most of the water is able to pass by the sock.

I think the idea is to keep the rowaphos from getting out of the reactor, I would not take a chance and just run it with the sock. if water can flow around it, you may have it to full.

No its not too full. The sock is like on one side of the inlet tube leaving the rest wide open. The reactor has filter media at the top and bottom.
