just came back from snorkling this morning ....
there is a large shallow reef flat along my beach in Waialua
not as many snails as I had hoped to find,
did find lots of cucumbers, about 5 large black Hawaiian brittle stars, and 4 electric orange "halloweeen" hermits.

swam with a few 3ft turtles.
found a large octopus but couldn't get him out of his hole
also lots of eels..

saw a beautiful purple w/blue spot grouper

and lots and lots of small reef fish ....
If I can't find a good place to find snails, I'll just have to sharpen up my fish catching sikills
think It would be easy to catch convict tangs, small white spotted puffers, various wrasses and angels ....

may take a while to get settled in enough to be able to start shipping things out ....

i glad your enjoying yourself, sam! my first week of work at my new job is going well. i'll be flying to los angeles on sunday for the week, looking forward to it!
