Skimmer Cleaning

How often do you clean your skimmers? I have a 26" tall skimmer with a becket injector. I was cleaning it once a week and it was working ok, I've been traveling more and haven't cleaned it in 3 weeks. It seems to be working better!

I try to do a total cleaning anywhere between 4 weeks and 2 months, otherwise just clean out the collection cup and upper section weekly.

Does "cleaning" include pulling a still-alive turbo out of the intake?

I clean mine when the collection bucket is full... 3 Gallons.. Or if I am just bored looking for something to do, but thats not to regularly.

Hav'nt noticed any better or worst operation. Runs about the same...
