Default just got back from las vegas!

on the spur of the moment, i decided to fly to las vegas wensday, tried my luck at blackjack. i lost the first night there, but the 2nd night i spent 10 hours at 1 table and was able to break even. which is easy to do when you start off $100 in the hole on a $3 minimum table, but eventually i was able to work from $1 chips to $5 dollar chips, and then to $25 dollar chips. i checked out some of the other casinos on the strip, like luxor and mandalay bay, and took in a few shows while i was there, i feel pretty good now, and now know what it takes to make a serious profit at the tables. lots of beer!

everybody at the table hadn't picked up a book on blackjack. i cuaght everyone at the table off guard! i doubled down on ace/nine 3 times when the dealer had a bust card showing, and i won those hands, split pairs of 9 an lower and ended up beating the dealer every time. battled thru 12,13, 14, and 15 to win hands, utilized the surrender option number times, and watched the dealer take everyones money, while i only lost 1/2 of mine.(they nver heard of the surrender option since its not posted) had the pitboss explian to the dealer that they do allow surrenders. but as usual, the dealer pulled some amazing 21's, one time going up to 8 cards to get it! the dealer at the luxor accidently paid me for a loosing hand, and had it happen at the casino where i was staying at also. luck and a bit of playing skill really paid off! one of the players even tipped me a buck for showing him how to play.
the casino where i was staying had a continous autodealer, so i couldn't count cards, but the luxor used 2 sets of 2 decks that rotated in out, so i had my first chance of counting cards there, which is a very difficult task, and i found that i really need to practice it alot more before implenting that type of stragety.
    lot's of fun!

Cool. Yea Blackjack is the one game that the dealer really doesnt have a definate advantage. I have an angle to make a lot of money at it and I have tested it here at home many times and made money everytime. But it will probably get you kicked out of the casino if they notice. Which shouldnt take long. But it's not cheating and you have to have some cash to do it.

Bet 10.00 if you win, great. Bet another 10.00
If you lose bet 20. If you lose your down 30 and now bet 40. Do this everytime by betting a little more than you are down and you will make money. But keep in mind if you have a loosing streak you will be betting big sooner or later. But you WILL win a hand and get it back. I hardly ever loose more than 3 in a row. So you can always be in the possitive. Like I said though. Until they notice what you are doing and show you where the door is just in case you forgot. I am dying to go to Vegas or Shreiveport LA.
