i was finally able to get a picture with both my purple tang and goldenspotted rabbitfish. they have been extremely camara shy since i got them. so i spent some time sneaking up on them to get this picture. the lighting is my new 400w 20kk bulbs.

this is one of the haitian liverocks i purchased not long ago. they make great overhangs to attach small frags to, sort of like a palette of corals. when i move, i plan on taking this piece and another similiar to start up my reef the next time.

slowly these palythoa zoos have spead. i started off with just couple of these attached on a rock from blane perums stock. what's nice about these, is that they aren't the standard green ones which seem to be quite common.

i have attempted to frag this colt coral about 3 times, cutting off about 5 branches. all which failed to attach to their new home, and ended up in my overflow. but still the branches grow back.....

thanks robertg! yeah, the rock is covered with those rics, i think there is 10 or so of them! it would be nice if i could get them to spread out some more, but haven't had any luck....
