    I use this one http://airwaterice.com/home_reef.htm

It's been great. It takes care of home water and tank water. I've saved tons of money on bottled water. It has a 5 gal resovor so you can get what fast.

I test mine with my TDS meter. Once coming out ot RO and then out of DI, that way you know which one is going to need replacement.
My readings out of RO are around .011 or .11, after DI is .01 or .001 I always forget the decimal positions unless I'm looking at it.

The Kent HI-S 60 is a superb RO/DI system, Ive been using one for over three years and have yet to have to replace the membrane. I replace the sediment/carbon filters when the DI is spent, usually around three times a year and my TDS is always zero's across the board. IMO, its one of the better RO/DI units out there. No matter what brand of RO/DI you get, make sure to install a flush kit!

I have an AquaticReefSystems Oceanus 4 Stage RO/DI 100 GPD that I've produced over 3,000 gallons of water in and it's been great. I had to change the RO membrane once but they only charged me half price to change the membrane.

I'm working on a deal through a friend at work on a local source of RO units and replacement cartridges. She just left the water treatment business and can hook me up at wholesale prices on units and replacements.

I'll post something when I know more.

right now http://www.airwaterice.com/ is offering free shipping on the typhoon III model that comes with a tds meter, back flush and auto shut off.

I have been shopping around for about a month and this seems like the best value right now $214 and free shipping!!

I use the Kent Marine 35gpd Hi-S RO/DI Unit which I got from Premium Aquatics. I have been very pleased with it. It was a bit pricey compared to others I have seen this then but the customer service from Premium is great.

When I first got the unit one of the canisters had a chip in it, I e-mailed them and they sent me a replacement no questions asked with free shipping.
