    I believe Mike (MikeP) has successfully fragged a plate (either intentionally or accidentally)

    That was a regular fungia not a heliofungia. All the 'frags' are doing ok but I really would not attempt it with the helio - they do develop anthocauli I believe from time to time but I wouldn't induce fragging on those unless it was already dying.

    The old bait and switch worked ….
    Managed to divert the brittle star’s attention long enough
    for the plate to swallow a large chunk of shrimp

    the plate is actually more of a dome at the moment ….

    life is good ....
    all is well ....
