new pet/fish store in austin?

my aunt told me that at herpeton that she saw ads or papers advertising a new fish store or pet store,

has anyone heard about this?

One opened up on North 183 but I have not been there yet.

Theres two on north 183. I cant remeber the names. I stopped at both. One is before Anderson Mill on the north access road. The other is on the corner of Anderson mill & 183 N. Neither one had a saltwater section.

One is called Horizon Pets (N 183 & Anderson Mill Road) and the other one (off Roxie & N 183 access road) I cannot recall the name. I went investigating shortly after I saw the first signs. The gentleman at Horizon said they were looking on adding SW in the near future, and also said that he bought out what use to be Pet Corral in South Austin (Wm. Cannon & S. First, I believe). You will notice that they use the large concrete bricks as stands for the aquariums just like Pet Corral. Anywho, both seemed to be very courteous and helpful, and I know the one off Roxie even carries some SW gear.

The guy at Horizon is clueless to salt. He had no experience with salt. He said he was going to add salt slowly as he will be learning. I dont know, I like the ecperience of the other stores.

The one on Roxie is River City Aquariums, haven't stopped by yet. I stopped in Horizon, The guy was nice but it had that "Pet Store" smell from carrying all pet products.
