Thread: Lighting levels???

    Default Lighting levels???

I have been looking around online at differant corals. Their light requirments are usually listed on a scale of low to high or intense. What I want to know is how much lighting is low light, how much is moderate light and so on. Is there some sort of general guideline like FW plants of watts per gallon, or something of that sort? I would guess that if you where to use lighting for a 200 gallon on a 20 gallon tank it would probably be overkill right? So how do tell what lighting level you fall into as far as low-high?

    Thanks,

I also forgot to ask about current. Everything I see say "low"-"high" current. How much movement would I need?
