Good, bad or other suggestions? I'll need the money up front when the order is placed unless you can do COD with motor freight.
Mark, last time I ordered the pallet I had to pay it in full before they shipped it. The way I did it last time was everyone paid me by the number of bags they wanted at $15 dollars a bag. If somebody wanted more then 3 bags then they would have to give me the money before they shipped the sand.

I'll be needing the sand in about 2 - 3 weeks therefore if this is going to take months I may just order what I need.

this might be a stupid question but how does this stuff affect pH in Freshwater? Logical thiniking it might be cool for a african tank or a Koi pond that may end up a shark tank/pond. Just wondering the inherriant buffering capasities.

I'm sorry about that. I'm not rich by any means and I cannot commit what money I do have without knowing a price. I suspect that my end alone will cost several hundred dollars with shipping and I cannot come up with that all at once.

OK, this is not going to happen. :(

I just got ahold of Yardright and got an answer. In order to ship this, I'll need to get a full truckload. That's 16 pallets with 70 - 40# bags per pallet. I do not have the space for 44,800 pounds of sand and it would cost several thousand to ship. The chance of me getting enough people together to offset the costs is pretty slim.

I guess I'll have to fill this tank one bag at a time. :( :(

Mark, I had stated the price was $15 dollars for a 40 lbs bag shipped. Ther are no other charges, therefore if you need 2,000 lbs that would be 50 bags @ $15 dollars each would equal $750 dollars, definately not pocket change.

I'm actually thinking of going with a Shallow sand bed therefore I'll probably just need 100 - 140 lbs. When you do have the money I recommend you get in touch with purearagonite and you can order a half pallet just for yourself for around $17 dollars a bag shipped (shipping included).

Why don't you designate an area of the pond for plants and leave the other bare bottom. This would save you money on sand and would make it easy to siphon out junk.
