Thread: Suggested Reef test kit

    Default Suggested Reef test kit

Can anyone suggest a good reef test kit? I have a water test kit. I want to test for calcium and trace supplements that the corals need. I have read on here several times that if you cant test for it dont add it to your water.

David get you a PH , Nitrate, Calcium , DKH/Alk & Maybe Magnesium if your going reef. Dont bother wasting the money on Amm. or Nitrite have the LPS check them for you. If you buy them you will find you never use them after the cycling your tank.
Also make sure you do your water changes, this should keep your water for the most part good.

Your Set, just might find better test kits than others. Salifert kits are nice. Just had the chance to use them, there great.
