    Default Clowns Hosting Colt

My clowns are now hosting my large colt(needs fragging!)....too funny. Would it be possible for them to stress the colt & make it slime? I also have a clear slime coat on water surface - I rearranged some of my rocks last weekend to get a better water flow and noticed it was hitting the colt a bit too strong. That's when I noticed a clear slim coat on surface, so I moved it to the other side of tank & that's when the clowns jumped in it. The slime coat is still there BTW.

LOL BA...will do...it looks like a large oak tree. Has another "limb" behind it. The clowns haven't hosted anything since I lost my Rose BTA.

Will those clowns stay black through their entire life? I have seen pics where they only are partially black, just wondering as I am planning on getting some.

My clown is also hosting in my large colt. Even when I added a BTA to the tank, he would explore the BTA, but at the end of the day go back and sleep in the colt. The colt doesn's seem bothered by that.

Those B&W clowns can be difficult to find, unless you go aquacultured (ORA does them). They're an (endemic) west Austrailian species. Cool that they're hosting in the colt! They shoudn't bother it too much, it's a better host than sarcophyton and many other softies.

Still trying to find out what caused/causing the clear slime coat on surface of water. The clowns are in heaven with the colt.....quite a show.

I talked to Mark at CB on Thur. and they were hoping to get some in yesterday. I've already asked him to save one for me. They are ORA clowns (tank raised). Mark has told me they have a hard time getting them. I got the last one they had about a month ago and have been looking for one so I can pair them. AW has also had them in the past but Tamer has said he has had a hard time getting them too.

Mine hasn't hosted in my LTA yet. From what I have been told by clown gurus that isn't unusual in tank raised clowns because they are used to haveing an anemone in the tank and it takes a while for their instincts to kick in.
