Adjusting to MH??
On my 120 G tank I have been running PC's for quite a while. It had fairly dim light, 500 W total PC about. I have just changed over to 2-400W MH, 10K (actinic support coming in a few days).
I know that I need to greatly reduce the photoperiod and let the corals slowly adjust to the new bright light, but how? Right now I am running lights for only about 4 hours. Is that good to start? And how long should I leave it there before I up the time? What is the total time it should take before I get back to a "normal" photoperiod?
Thanks!!!

That sounds good and I'd bump it about 1 or 2 hours a week. Someone else may have better idea since I'm terrible about adjusting mine with new lights, hasn't bothered any of my corals but would probably been better with a good adjustment period.

I will second the 4 hours for about aweek. Then add a hour more once aweek until you hit your goal (10 hours)
