    Default adding pc lights

I have two 400W PFO pendants running 20K XM's over my 150g reef. Each pendant has room for two 28W PC's. I don't know what kind of PC's to add to soften some of the blue and brighten things up. 10k's...6k's?
I know it is a matter of preference, but what would look best?

When it's time to change bulbs, get the Coralvue 20Ks ....
A much crisker whiter light than the 20K XMs
(not to mention cheaper and more PAR)

Are you currently using the Coralvue 20Ks. I was doing a ton of reading about them on RC and looked like a mixed response but mostly positive, also talked about less blue than the XM.
Also has anyone ever tried the Hamilton 20K and have any input to what it's like. I found a place where I can get the bulbs for the following price on 400 watters.

    20K XM $68
    20K Hamilton $52
I believe the Coralvue is between the hamilton price and XM, waiting for reply back.

To off set the blue of the XM 20,000s use a 10,000k PC. Also I have found after some time the bluish seems to turn to whitish. I just replace four 400 watt XM 20,000ks and was amaze how blue the new ones were compare to the old ones. I used the 20ks for 13 months and am very happy with XM.

The blue color on my 20K DEXM's has disappeared.

so... could you use 20K's for blue for about 8 months, then use them for 10k after that?

If you have two MH's you could buy one new bulb every 8 months, the older one would provide the white and the newer the blue?

Ok... so what if I'm cheap

Don't know about the others but my Radiums are over a year old now (I know, beyond the useful life) and are still pretty blue. I'm getting ready to buy new ones and just thinking about options before jumping into one.

Very good. I must not have seen the thread with the different comparisons. I may just have to try them out and the shipping is very reasonable price from oceanencounter. I may just have to give them a try and see how I like them.
