What PALM based PDA do I get?

My wife is going to get a palm based PDA. She needs a plam because of software for nursing school that she can only put on a PLAM. I think we have narrowed it down to the tungsten C or T3. I think the C has more speed and is WI-FI but the T3 has the cool slide open full screen nad some other hip features. The WI-FI is also important so that she can get emails while on campus in Austin. The T3 is not WI-FI but there is a case I can get after market that will make it WI-FI. Also www.newegg.com sells the C International version for 340 while the stores have the US version for 400. I asked Palm what the difference is and they told me that all we have to do is pic a language at startup. If this is truly the only difference I would like to save the cash and tax and buy it online. Please help me with this as I have never bought a PDA and I have no idea what to get.

I've got Palms and Handsprings. I like the handsprings better. But I like the Pocket PC's the best. The handsprings are more expandable than the Palm brands.

I've got a palm that I can't get myself to use quite often enough. Old style IV I think.

Back when I was involved with a company doing unified messaging, we almost always prefered the Handsprings over the Palms. Always seemed to be just about one step ahead.

But my father just got one of the Dell Axim (I think that's what it's called) It seems quite a bit more advanced.

I know a few that absolutely love and use their Blackberries all the time.
