    Default snail eathing thingy

Man I yanked this from my tank and with my crappy camera i couldnt get a shot of it but here is description:
I have tons of small snails in my tank (maybe 1/4" in size) and last night with flashlight I watch one be attacked and consumed. Something transparent looking like a anenome sorta with tentacles crawled across the tank and basically put the small snail, shell and all, inside its body. It was very weird to watch. The tentacles looked like the top of a jesters hat sorta with small round balls at the ends. Screwed up description I know but thought it was pretty cool and weird. Anyone seen these before?
