Default Frame Work for Live Rock

Has anyone every built a frame work for their live rock out of PVC. If so do you glue, drill holes, cap off with air inside?

    Any comments would be welcome.

I plan to build some type of frame to place my live rock to create caves, over hangs, etc.

You don't have to glue it, but cap the ends and drill holes in the pipe. Just make sure its sturdy.

I used to use pvc and egg crate for shelves. No glue. Just make sure you dont have any dead spots

I have also made a backbone useing locline and a large pump. You can place the live rock on the locline for support if they are light enough. You can then point the ends down into the live rock for some irregular flow. It does get expensive though
