Most of my stuff from this order is dead. When I got home and checked the salinity of the water, it was 1.030. Although I acclimated it over a few hours, i don't think the snails lasted the night. Maybe the worms are more able to withstand changes in salinity.

We REALLY need a cooperative live sand/detrivore arrangement. I know aquatic warehouse is talking about setting up a live sand system; hopefully they can stock it heavily with worms and various sand animals, and keep the water clean and well fed. Tim's live rock/sand pond is about the best source around; we need something in San Antonio. The ironic thing is that these animals are very easy to propogate; the only thing would be to keep adding a diversity of species. Between this disappointing order and the high price of IPSF stuff, I know we can do much better locally.
