Are you running DHCP? If so, check the computers behind the router to make sure they are getting the proper IP from the router. Also, if there is a setting for remote upgrade/management set it to active and try to log on to the router from an outside computer. That will verify the uplink to your cable modem. My router flakes out sometimes when the power goes out and changes some setting for the DHCP, and it stops assigning number, caused quite a few headaches till I found out what was happening.....
