ESV and additives

Esv is a buffer to stabalize, but can you also add supplements to raise say calcium if you want it a little higher?

Or will Esv raise calcium with a larger dose?

Pete,
I use the ESV kalkwasser to stabalize my tank. I use the ESV B-Ionics (two part additive) to keep my calcium and alk HIGH! ESV also makes a separate calcium booster.
