hey its me, Erin. glad to hear all has gone well so far! when are you going to move the tank? do you have help? I am moving (AGAIN!) this weekend. the good news is I get to set up my 120!!! pray for me!
-Erin
i wouldn't even consider getting it unless you are ground floor. A college friend repaired an apartment complex from a big tank that cracked in the second floor. The appartment was cheaply made with gypcrete (think paper in the concrete not rocks). The tank sagged until it cracked. UGLY mess!!!. The owner of the tank was responsible for the damage to the building. check your lease!!!
58gal cichlid tank
75gal reef
20gal rubble rock tank
i got the tank! the cherry oak stand with black trim tank looks sweet, now i just need to fill it with water! thanks for the offer of help, erin! i could use it for sure, but looks like i'll be busy working until saturday morning, then on saturday, i'll be breaking down both tanks and moving them over to the new place.
psychfish, as far as the lease agreement, i went thru it, it has no mention of aquarium size limits. the apartment complex only requires that i have renter's insurance. the apartment complex that i moved to is relatively new, and it has a concrete floor, so it shouldn't be an issue.
