    Default New 180 Taking Shape

Well, my new 180 is up and running. The cycling time was very low, about 1 week. I used the rock from the 120, the water from the 120, and a lot of the sand from the 120. Been testing daily for 2 weeks now, all is fine.

We got a small powder blue tang (very skinny guy, though he has a very good appetite and is putting on weight) and put him in on Sunday, as well as a small pair of engineer gobies and a coral beauty. They are getting along wonderfully! Everyone has their own rock pile to play in!

Last night we added the juvi Koran Angel. He is loving the space! He has been in a 29 for the month waiting for the new tank to get ready. He was going stir crazy! He is getting along well with his new tank mates.

This weekend we are getting in a few detritus eaters. We are feeding the tank three times a day to help this skinny powder blue fatten up, so the detritus eaters are well needed! The bristle worms are going to have some competition!
