    Default Flow

Ok I am wondering about a few things regarding flow in my tank. The picture will show placement as well as direction and normally they run 24/7. I have them split up on outlets so I can turn a few off when feeding. The ones that stay on when feeding to provide some flow are the 2 MJ 1200's on the bottom and the return. I ask because the other day I forgot to turn them back on and it was @ 3 hrs later, but looking in the tank some livestock looked happier (plump and bigger). I obviously have no dead spots and dont want any to help cyano or anything else to build up. Should I cut back and maybe put the ones I turn off on a timer and run them for a few hours a day instead of 24/7? If yes, what would be the best time to have them on? All thoughts welcome ... Thanks

I dont have but a 100 gal, but between the closed loop on a squid and the return on a 1" sea swirl and 5 mj1200's Im getting good flow, but Im thinking too much for bottom dwellers as it is constant. Then I think a wave maker, but for the price why not just re do it using something like www.oceanmotions.com with pvc getting rid of the powerheads I can always use elsewhere. Any thoughts?
