Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself.

I am a junior Civil Engineering major at Texas A & M.

I have had freshwater aquariums since I was around 8, but just started saltwater when in October. Although I have been reading books and researching the internet on the subject for about two years. My cousin Chad recently gave me his 46g bowfront complete with stand, and canopy. :grin:

When I got the tank it was in really bad shape. For the last year before I got the tank, he had only fed the fish. The whole fron tglass was covered with coralline algae. Since i have gotten the tank I upgraded the lighting from NO 30w to 192w PC's, and added some corals. I don't think Chad would recognize the tank if he saw it now.

I haven't been able to make it to any meetings yet, though I hope to soon! I really look forward to meeting everyone.
