    I would definitely make sure to put a skimmer on the tank! That will help a little.

    Misty is right, you will defintely need a skimmer. In any tank that you have messy eaters like eels, triggers, lions, etc., you are always going to want to have a skimmer due to the high dissolved organics. You are going to need some stable rock work where he can hide.
