Fish recommendation

I am setting up a 25 gallon hex that is a very tall tank but not large diameter, 24 inches high and 18 inches from point to point(15 inches flat to flat.

What would be a good fish for something like this. I was originally thinking great seahorse tank, but have heard they are a little tough to maintain.
Possibly putting in a pair of nemos since this will be in my daughters room with some polyps and shrooms. She's only 2 months old but gave me a good excuse to put up another tank.

Running a 96watt powerquad light, bacpak2R, and possibly add a small canister filter. There's really no way to run a sump on this.

Orbic batfish. And when he gets too tall, you'll have another excuse to set up a new tank. And when he starts eating polyps, you'll have yet another excuse to set up a new tank. Hey, just trying to help you out here. You can keep it with nemos too, so there's another plus.

Seahorses would like a tank like that, along with the leafy seadragon as well.

Are seahorses as tough to keep as I've heard?

Not if you don't mind feeding live ghost shrimp daily. They can be trained to eat frozen food, but it takes time.

My seahorse is tank raised (by me). He loves frozen mysis and frozen krill as well as brine shrimp and live as well as frozen mosquito larva. There are some ins and outs with the seahorses. Its worth doing the research. Once they are on frozen foods its easy. As long as live is all they will take, you will have issues sooner or later with availablity and size. They are not like snakes or something that can go a long time without food. You will need to keep extra live on hand for the times when you can't find it. And it would be good if you can culture some pods like gammarus shrimp for them. The 24 inch depth of that tank would make a good tank for a pair. They might even mate for you if they have enough cover and don't feel uneasy in the tank.

Thanks for the info. Maybe if I could find a pair that are already eating frozen brine or mysis. That is if they can show me that they will eat it, I know I saw a tank somewhere once where they were eating the frozen brine.
Can you keep a couple of clowns in with them or they a species only tank setup. If not then it's a mute point since my wife says that nemo will definately be in the tank. Oh yeah, did I mention that this one was her idea.

I had the 42gal bow front and I loaded the thing upwith damsels, It was the coolest looking tank ever!! I also had rock all the way to the top!!! I loved the fact that all the damsel couldn't find someone to pick on so they chased each other around all day It was the best and most fav. tank ever!! Even the owners of Aquarium Sales and Service loved it!!
