??Tempered glass???
I just took my 54gal. cornerbow into aquatic warehouse to get drill, when the guy reminded me that some tanks have tempered glass all the way around??? The tag on the bottom reads" the bottom is tempered for strengh Do not drill" but nothing about the sides??? :( I also have a allglass minibow7 there tah I'm gonna also drill once I get a O.K. on what and where I can drill. So if any one has a drilled minibow 7 or a corner bowfront 54 let me know. Hopefully someone out there knowa for sure!!!
You can drill a 7gal minibow. Check nano-reef.com for some threads on people who have done this.
does anyone else have 100% that I can drill the back or the bottom of either of these tanks???
Well, I have oceanic's # for the 54bow, but I don't have the # for allglass for the 7bow. I was hopeing that someone had drilled either one of these tanks!!

Well I finally found out from oceanic that the bowfront line of aquariums does tne bottom in tempered glass only. As for allglass minibow 7 its glass all the way baby oooooooooooowww!! so sunday I'm gonna pick up my swiss aquariums and hopefully silicone in the dam and paint on monday!! And I might have the thing rolling by next friday!! As soon as I get my digital camera I'll start to post pics of the project! Which I'm gonna call project54
