Does anyone use or have any experiences using Sea-Lab blocks? I am using a 2 kg block in my refugium on my new 150 gallon tank. Also, does anyone dose anything in addition to the block?

Actually I've had good luck using these on small systems. You just have to place the block in an area of low current so it doesn't dissolve too fast.
I think it is a bad choice for a 150 since the calcium source is calcium chloride. Without substantial water changes you will eventually end up with an ionic imbalance when using calcium chloride (sea lab blocks. turbo calcium, liquid calcium...). This isn't so much of an issue on a small tank since even smaller, regular water changes will turn over the entire water volume 2 or 3 time per year. Ionic imbalances can cause all types of headaches and it really isn't something you can test for. The only obvious sign that I know of is having your sandbed turn into a block of cement.
Your better going with something more balanced. A kalk or calcium reactor would be the best choices for a tank that size.
