If you want really nice fish, go to Rivers and Reefs. James is the owner and a friend of mine. I have done business with his store for about 10 years. He takes very good care of all of his fish. He keeps them for up to 2 weeks before he will allow anyone to sell them, AND he guarantees them. I had fish die on me in the past for no aparent reason. We found nothing wrong with them or the water. I had them for about 6 months and he gave me complete credit for them because he knew I wasnt the cause of their death. The only reason I dont shop there much any more is he doesnt do Reefs any longer. He doesnt have the space for it. He doesnt have a large stock but can get you anything you want. He has great suppliers.
And I know that no store is perfect, but some are just worthless. I know the one in Cedar Park. I used to shop there when I lived in Jonestown. I like the owner and the store. And all stores will have fish die from time to time. But when I see a dozen fish in the Saltwater area alone just about everytime I go there. It's not good. I just dont think they know what they are doing. Or they dont care.
