You guys should try the GIMP. It's better than photo shop and it's free!

Hello everyone. I found a designer through my cousin who actually builds websites for companies such as Kodak, etc. He said he could go the whole nine yards including baskets: automated shipping, tracking, and confirmation codes along with graphics, layouts, 5-6 pages with around 10 different products (fish food) to start off, give or take, etc for roughly $750.-$1000. and have it pretty much up and running by New Years'. From those who know the average costs (guesstimates) of having a pro build your website, would you say this price is still rather steep or pretty decent?

Thank you for any input and thanks for the pms Josh i really appreciate it ;);)

A good logo alone will cost more than 500 bucks.... and a big Company name would be looking at thousands.... That’s just logo work!!! So i would say that’s a great deal

Photoshop 7 is the one and only for me (Until I have enough $$$ for CS)
