Can ya work up some kind of a ballpark figure for me? I dont need a sound card and just need a video card for the monitor, I dont need a keyboard, mouse or monitor, just the tower. Lemmee know somethin when you can. This system is strictly for recording live music, itll never see the internet.

Jim. If you want it Modded let me know. Not trying to take work away from Joshua. I built mine from scratch and have it modded. I'll post a pic when my battery recharges for my camera. But I can help you in the Mod once Joshua builds it. But get a good case to start with, then build from there.

Josh, no AMD please, Ive heard of problems with that chip when used for my specific application. Lemmee do a lttle more research concerning the mb, but I know that the desired mb is the Asus, Ill have to find out the chip set also.

P4 all the way. I am running a 2.4ghz 800fsb at 3.0ghz. It will run stable at 3.2ghz. With air cooling only.
