    Default Anemone's Moving

There seem to be alot of anemones moving around lately. Mine's decided to follow the trend. Have had him for nearly two months and ever since I've had him he has stayed put till yesterday when he just decided to pack up his things and move to the back of my tank next to my skimmer powerhead... Migration pattern for anemone's in the SA Austin area?? :? Who elses has decided to move lately?

No changes in temp on my tank, but my ro/di storage tank which is outside is pretty cold even with a heater.

My powerheads seem to keep my water temp up a bit and don't let it dip below 76,77

Took my heater out since my anemone's on the move

I don't know about the temp thing...

I lost one of my anemones yesterday. He got sucked into my powersweep. Now, the interesting part of this is that he did not get sucked in the intake of the powerhead. I have a sponge on it to keep that from happening. He was sucked into the gap where the flow control wheel is. There is just enough gap to pull my poor anemone into the sweep mechanism.

I took it apart and got him out. Suprisingly he is still mostly in one piece. I doubt he will survive but I will give him a chance.

I now have a very lonely clown in my nano, anyone have a good anemone they would like to part with?

Maybe it's just a seasonal or lunar thing. I want to know why my anemone isn't moving! It won't move from the back corner of the tank like I want it to, but with my luck it would just move further to the back of the tank and I wouldn't be able to see it at all! :-)

Mine has not moved at all, he likes his little corner but I don't because I can barley see him.
