Percula True vs. False

We already had some discussions on this subject in the past, but I think I figured out how the breeders do it. Apparently the scientific differences between the two have nothing to do with it. I walked into a LFS that had a tank of true percs right next to a tank of false percs. Seems that anything with all 3 stripes and some black outline is called true perc and anything that didn't come out with all 3 white stripes or no outline is called false percs. The false percs were missing the white stripe in the back and the one in the middle was incomplete. Even the guy at the LFS admitted that this was kind of odd, but he goes with the invoice. Basically this is what was ordered and delivered and that's what it is going to be sold as. BTW these clowns came from ORA.

ORA also sells miss-bar percs and sells them for less. These include incomplete bars and missing colors. It could be your store is just trying to up the profit margin.
