for anyone interested in reptiles/Amphbians if you don't know it already the reptile expo is coming thru san antonio this weekend nov. 15-16th.
they're usually some really good deals going around, with alot of out of ordinary things being offered sometimes. this show also has venomous animals so watch out for the kids (gilla monsters, cobras, vipers, etc.). it's at the live oak civic center from 10:00-5:00. this show only comes around twice a yr. so it's usually worth taking a look it if your looking to buy anything. poison dart frogs anyone???

oh wow! ive been thinking of getting into poison darts when i get back. i dont know anything about them yet but id love to learn. unfortunately i wont be able to go but do u know if there is a schedule online or somewhere that i can take a peek at to see when the next next one is???

That will be one place you won't ever find me! :scold: LOL. Snakes give me the willies! :o I still love to watch all the shows on the Discovery Channel and The Learning channel!

this particular show goes thru alot of cities throughout texas. you can find some good deals and they're always willing to haggle. too bad they're not any marine shows like this, you can't pick-up a fish and go to the next stop like you can a snake or lizard. poison darts are really neat, and not really that hard to take care of anymore with the right set-up. they're a few good books about them, and websites.

Ray - sounds like a cool show. Would be kind of funny to see a similar show but with the fishkeeping hobby. All these people walking around with plastic bags filled with water! Janitor would be busy all day long with his mop! lol

Do you think i could get rid of a couple corn snakes there? I am trying to get rid of mine, but can't find anyone who wants them. I was going to try the newspaper, but this might be better.

if they're a different or rare morph and just your ordinary ones they might. you also might just go and browse first and bring it up to some of the vendors and who knows. they might be willing to trade also.
