Eh*im are made in China. It's likely to be the other way around. Not all the reviews out there on Eheim are positive.
As long as the alternative is quiet and doesn't leak, I coulnd't careless. I coulnd't careless especially if I saved $150 over the 2028. It probably will just be my luck for them to come out with a heat included model after I buy these.
