New hood is coming along nicely.

Well it's almost complete. I have the hood done, but waiting to buy my 250W MH before I mount all of the lights and controllers in it.
I cant wait to get the 250, then I can buy my LR and get it going.

Notice that it slides out toward the front of the tank to allow access to the overflow, return and Powerheads. I just got lucky and designed it that way before I realized that it worked out nicely and would do this.

OH. NO coments on the OLD fake coral junk in my tank. It's just there for storage right now. ;-)

Henry - You can find molding like that and several other designs at Home Depot and Lowes. All kinds of stuff you can use to make a simple stand or canopy look a little nicer. I used some molding around my stand and canopy to give it a better look and it helps cover the trim of the tank as well.
