Ok, then I have double vison. I see two maroon clowns (the male is under the leather) and the third clown is the spotted one. But since they seem to be trio, there's always hope.

What about triggers and softies as well as SPS?? That is the first I've sen a trigger with anything. I know most of the references are wrong, otherwise I wouldn't have Cooperbands with yellow polyps and corals, etc. and yellow clown gobies that eat coral. Talk about wrong as far as the references go. Its totally opposite the refs.

    Larry,
Clown triggers are awesome---but reefsafe---who knows?

This isn't my standard. This is the first time a clown trigger has seen a reef at my house. So far it hasn't bothered anything except the urchin, which I expected. I have mushrooms, polyps, leathers, gigas clam, anemones, and acropora in this tank. I'll see, I just have to wait and find out. I do feed them 2 times a day though to deter him from eating other things.

VERY cool! I've been wanting to do a reef with "non-reef safe" fish for a long time. From what I am experiencing, the experts are way off so far. My bicolor blenny eats pink birdsnest! The yellow clown gobies rip the polyps off the coral all day long. And one really cool thing is my PAIR of six lined wrasses and two maroons that are similar is size.

    Instar,
So how many gold striped maroons do you have right now? Have you been growing the fry up or just spawning them?

    Tim,

I am currently looking to by a rose anemone for my maroon pair, let me know if you see a really good deal somewhere or if you decide to sell yours(I doubt ) I am looking to find a large one since my clowns are some hefty heifers...
    thanks
    Jason
