Well, since the tank back is a blue, why not incorporate a bit of blue into the wall color scheme, which would accent the tank nicely, plus could give the room a more tranquil feel to it, depending on the blue you choose. Adding to that, having a faux finish could give the tank and room a more "mature" and subtle flow ;)
