Go research on PcMag and use cdnet.com (I think that's it) for backup. There are some nice one's by Sony and Toshiba out now...personally I'd stick with a Toshiba.

I don't trust Dell...I've heard from too many techs who work for Dell that say their parts are cheaply made (for the most part) and get more complaints regarding technical issues than the comps they sell.
