From my experiance with AquaTek in the past, it was probally a mistake by an uninformed employee. They have been very helpfull and knowlegable with the questions I have had.

Although this weekend an employee wouldn't sell me solid pink pulsing xenia out of their corner cube tank, even though the last time i was there ( a week past ) I watched a guy sell a small frag of it and asked him if they sold xenia out of the tank and he said yes. The bad employee proceded to show me a brownish non-pulsing xenia rock and said it was the same thing... sigh.

I guess service and knowledge really depends on the employee.
