    Default Edward's Aquifer water

    I know RODI water is the way to go. However, does anybody know about the make-up of our water around here? Dissolved minerals, properties, etc? Does anybody run a successful reef using it? And if so, how do you treat the water before you use it.

    I dunno if I should be the one to voice my opinion, but from what I have heard SA water is much like where I lived in Cali...If so, I will probably setup my tanks without ro or di and just use regular softwater tap, which contains enough minerals so that I don't need to worry about additives, etc

    You could probably call the water company and they should give a print out of what your areas water is made up of
