    Default new skimmer

I just finished leak testing my new beckett skimmer from the MACO class, using a 5 gallon bucket of salt water and a lousy submersible pump (rio 2500). Even with this pump and freshly mixed water (no organics) the entire 10" tall, 6" diameter tube fills with milky foam. Yippee! Plus, it looks like it will fit in my stand with about 1/8" to spare. I got lucky on that one.

I'm going to try to bring this and the reactor to the next meeting.

Congratulations Matt! Would love to see it and your other creations at the meeting. I will have to check out those MACO classes sometimes.
