    thanks..
everythig is still new the tank is about 8 months old now but the live rock is about 14months old i think having 8month old cured rock to start the tank was the key.
cant wait till all the corals grow up lol....
im sure it will look completely changed a year from now..
thanks everyone for all the help and support.

Great! Congrats...I started stocking my tank last February...it sat from September to February with me thinking..."OK...now what the h*** do I do?" Five months of beautiful purple rock & 3 hijacker crabs.....wow! :-D

My tank has gone "grow crazy" in the last 3 mos - I bought the "Clam & Coral Diet" from Jim & everything has had a growth spurt bigtime. It's been awesome to see the growth.

It's great to see what you've put together flourish...future pics please...

Great looking tank! I don't know if you already posted it but how big is it? I use the product Pro Buffer dKH from Kent Marine only as a coralline accelerator. I have found great results with it.

I have a pic of this & a pic of that! But I will post one when I get back from a trip this weekend. No one has seen my tank except for Troy Valentine when I had nothing but rock...he helped catch a big hijacker crab - didn't want to start stocking the tank till I got him out.

I have some beautiful blue/purple mushrooms I got from Vinh. Most of my tanks consists of frags that have really taken off.

I do have a large maze brain that in my opinion isn't doing so well...I see the edges slowly receding & don't know what to do. Got it from Brett a while back.

Will take a pic hopefully tomorrow.

    its a 110show with a 20gal sump and a 10gal refug..im running a kent
turbo eductor skimmer with a mag7 and a mag24 for a return pump and circulation im also running a 400gph powerhead that will be going soon and in its place im putting a tunze turbo bell that pushes 1600gph its the same size and only takes 11 watts. in place of the
    mag24 im putting a iwaki 1200gph pump.
the mag is just tooooo noisey for me...
so ill save on the electric bill and itll be allot more quiet also ill be able to get rid of one of the overflows.......more space for coral..
