    Default skimmer causing micro bubbles

I 've always got small micro bubbles in my tank from my return pipe. my euro reef skimmer is putting alot of bubbles into my sump and they are being pumped into my tank. How can I fix this? It's not real bad I am just tired of seeing all these bubbles in my tank. I have tried adjusting the skimmer and adjusting the water level in the sump but nothing is working.

Do you have a picture of your sump? Some company sell sump that are custom made for Euro-Reef Skimmer. Or you can build PVC pipe to reroute the output and reduce the bubble. Are you still using the stock spong filter on the Euro?

You'll definitely needs to get yourself a new sump with baffles.
What kind of return pump do you have? If you have a Mag Pump. You can try to stick a sponge over that. Problem is that spong create nitrate.

You needs to get yourself a new custom sump with baffles to cut down the micro bubbles. In the mean time, you can try to put your pump inside a 5 gallons (or 2.5 gallons) aquarium. Rotate your skimmer so that the output is farther away from your pump. But I don't think that will help much w/ your current sump setup. Euro-reef tend to go crazy if you feed some frozen foods or add additives to the tank. Have you cleaned your skimmer yet since you got it? After that you can try to cut down the micro bubbles by adjusting it accordingly.

Some peoples build PVC pipe to reroute the skimmer's return under the water level and throw away the sponge filter.

Get yourself a filter pad or material and place it were the bubbles are being formed in the sump. Or put the filter material so it covers the return pump.
